As we move into a period of economic expansion Operational Performance Improvement is becoming a key to reinvigorating growth. Are your operations making a maximum contribution to earnings? Are raw materials available for processing? To address these complex operational challenges, BBK launched a wholly-owned subsidiary, Performance Improvement, LLC (PI) in 2010.
Performance Enhancement
The objective of this service offering is to gain a clear understanding of the current state of manufacturing performance (Value Stream Mapping); create a clear vision of the desired future state; create a prioritized, customized strategy (Sufficiency Plan) to positively impact your operational performance. The next step is hands-on implementation of the Sufficiency Plan by experienced Lean practitioners. The right element applied at the right time to ensure maximum positive impact. And finally, establishment of the appropriate metrics to allow management to measure performance and ensure continuous improvement. In all instances, each of these steps is conducted in tandem with your Operations Team under PI's leadership.
Supply Chain Management
PI will examine your entire supply chain process, which includes planning and benchmarking; spend transparency and analysis; strategic category sourcing; supplier development and rationalization: contract governance, and payment disposition. We will assess your planning and execution involving order configuration and entry; the prioritization of orders and subsequent scheduling, sequencing and component allocation - through finished goods inventory and distribution. As always, this assessment is conducted in tandem with your Supply Chain Team under PI's leadership.
Quality Systems
PI will lead the analysis of actions and plans related to performance feedback and management, development of quality plans based upon process knowledge, technical problem solving, and continuous improvement and execution.
Value Analysis/Value Engineering
Assess and ensure that the product designs for manufacturing, production processes and related supply chain are optimized.
Interim Management
Deployment of PI's deep manufacturing experience on an interim basis to jump start and give clear direction to performance enhancement.
Project Management
PI offers experienced operational resources that plan, organize and effectively manage projects with clear timing and deliverables.
