Multi-Million Dollar Manufacturer of Cast Aluminum Oil Pans and Cylinder Heads

• A supplier to one of BBK's client's plants was in the ramp of production of new oil pans, upper and lower manifold covers and engine heads, and was transitioning production to a new state of the art facility
• Throughput problems at the new facility put the customer's supply requirements at risk

• Implemented a material control system to identify WIP and finished goods in a more efficient manner as well as reduce the in process volume of material
• Prepared an assessment identifying various quality issues and a plan for addressing product quality
• Assisted in project planning and execution of installation of new casting and process equipment
• Prepared risk analysis identifying potential financial and operational risks to supply

• BBK's client was able to negotiate an agreement with the Receiver to operate Ion during an orderly wind down
• Production and quality were protected and an interruption in supply was avoided
