BBK, International Business Advisory Firm, Welcomes Managing Director in Shanghai; Continues Focus on Manufacturing in China

June 2, 2008. Detroit.  BBK, an international business advisory firm providing financial, strategic and operational services to its clients worldwide, has announced the addition of Duane Bolinger as a Managing Director of BBK's Asia headquarters in Shanghai.

Duane will lead BBK's presence in the Asia Pacific region, where BBK works with global manufacturers to improve performance, enhance enterprise value and maximize returns.

"Duane's global expertise in strategic planning, purchasing and production is a significant asset for our multinational and domestic clients," said William G. Diehl, BBK President and CEO.  "He has the in-depth knowledge of what it takes for OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers to not only navigate China's highly dynamic market conditions and complex regulatory environment, but also to improve performance and quality, and most importantly, succeed in this fast-paced economic climate."

Duane's experience in senior roles such as Plant Manager at Delco Remy, Managing Director - Asia Pacific and Global Purchasing Director at Delphi, and Director of Strategic Planning at General Motors Worldwide Purchasing and Production Control, puts him in a strong position to help companies in China adjust to the rapidly increasing demand for manufacturing support and operation efficiency.

"Duane will lead a strong team of experienced professionals, demonstrating that BBK is the global leader in helping clients overcome supply base challenges, particularly industry best practices in Supply Risk and Supply Chain Management," said Michael P. Thomas, Managing Director and Asia Operations Advisory Group and North America Plant Transitions Lead.  "He understands the nuances of the industry in both the U.S. and China, and we are thrilled that he will sustain our momentum in Shanghai."

As China's automotive supplier industry continues to grow, Asian suppliers will strengthen their role in the industry by developing its infrastructure, workforce, systems and productive assets. This advancement will promote a competitive environment with auto parts suppliers in other countries.

"I am eager to hit the ground running in Shanghai, as the potential for manufacturers in this region shows no signs of stopping. It is an exciting time to partner with these organizations as they perform operational, supply chain and supply risk management," said Duane.  "BBK China already has an excellent staff on hand and I am honored to join a firm with such credibility and proven success."
