BBK Adds Strength to its Operations Team with New Hires Alec Bedricky and Keith Updike
Southfield, Mich. - August 2005 - BBK, an internationally recognized, leading provider of financial and operational business advisory services, has named Alec Bedricky and Keith Updike, senior directors. BBK Operations Lead David Wolgast made the announcement.
Bedricky and Updike are responsible for management of all aspects of BBKs client relationships, including advanced product planning, launch support, statistical problem solving and development and execution strategies.
"Alec and Keith bring more than 50 years of combined top-level management and operational experience in the manufacturing field to BBK," said Wolgast. "They strengthen our capabilities and embody the expertise that has helped drive BBKs success.
Prior to joining BBK, Bedricky served at General Motors for more than 30 years, holding various global positions. Most recently, as Executive Director of Worldwide Purchasing and Order to Delivery, he was responsible for directing day-to-day operations in collaboration with a cross functional organization in the design, development and manufacturing activities of a distressed supplier company. Bedricky works out of BBK's Chicago office.
Bedricky earned a B.S. in Business Administration, Accounting and Production Management from Loyola University in Chicago, IL. He resides in Chicago, IL.
Updike possesses more than 20 years of automotive experience. Most recently, he served as Vice President, Operations in the Automotive Division for Siegel Roberts, Inc., a $350 million automotive decorative trim supplier in Farmington Hills, Mich. He was responsible for supply chain management, total-manufacturing operations, manufacturing engineering purchasing and planning.
Updike earned an M.B.A. in Operations Management from the University of Toledo in Ohio and a B.B.A. in Accounting and Management from Adrian College, Adrian, Michigan. He resides in Jackson, TN.
